Lake  Como  Boat  Trip

Lake Como is the most romantic lake in the Italian Lake District.  All of the lake lies within Italy. The villas that surround the lake are quite magnifico.

At the south end of the lake lies the old Roman city of Como.  Como is a small city offering many fine shops, restaurants and a cosmopolitan way of life.

Bellagio, which lies at the heart of the lake is not to be missed.  We also think Varenna and Menaggio are towns that should be on everyone's itinerary.

Taking a boat trip on Lake Como will be one of the most memorable experiences of your trip to the lake district.  Here you will get a close up view of all the beautiful villas built along the banks of the lake.

There are many different types of commercial boats to enjoy.  All of the major towns along the shores of Lake Como have a port for loading onto the boats.

Car ferries only go between Varenna, Bellagio, Cadenabio, and Menaggio.

A great way to see the lake and its' lakeside villas is to take the slow boat from Menaggio to Como and to return on the high speed air foil boat.
