It is divided over 3 floors and is a spacious apartment simply but comfortable: living room with terrace for outside dining, 3 double bedrooms, large fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with tube. Villa Gaia is a stylish 18th century villa directly on the water side , which was completely renovated. The lovely penthouse is on the second floor and consists of a spacious living room with small balcony offering breathtaking views over lake and mountains , it also has a small roof terrace for sunbathing and relax. One bedroom with double bed, one single bed accommodation in a far secluded corner of the living room , open kitchen, shower room.

In total the space is 1,400 square feet or 135 square meters. ãVista Lago,ä formerly Hotel Larius, was originally built early in the last century. An indoor pool, a fitness area, and underground parking have been added to the grounds.

The cobbled streets and chiming of the church bells provide a tranquil Italian village atmosphere, whilst being only a short drive (5 mins) from Menaggio on the western shore of Lake Como. Upon arrival you will be greeted by Betsy, the docile schnauzer and Ann the owner of the villa.

The cottage is available for rental from mid April to early November and is situated 7 minutes drive up the hill from Menaggio and 700 meters from the Menaggio and Cadenabbia Golf Course. It is simply but prettily furnished and the accommodation comprises: at garden level, a large garage (with washing machine) and plenty of storage, and (not connected) a large twin bedded room which overlooks the garden.

Casetta Mataross on Lake Como , near the Swiss border was one of the old farmhouses, which are scattered all over the slopes at a few 100 mt. above lake-level. It overlooks lake Como and mountains as far as the alps. The local rural population, not even so long ago, brought their animals, like sheep and goats up the mountains for grazing during the summer.

Villa Solinga ( red building) is a wonderful villa with 300m2 living space situated directly on the water front. It was built in the early eighteenth century and has always belonged to the same Milanese family, who chose lake Como as their summer retreat to get away from the warm and humid town. At that time families travelled by train or carriage to Como and then further up the lake by boat and that implies that Villa Solinga was easier to reach by boat at that time.
